Anhui ranks among top 10 for its patent grants

Anhui was honored as one of the top 10 IP exemplary provinces across the country for the first half of 2011, with 19,198 patent applications and 18,352 grants, up 68.9% and 206.0% year-on-year.

Hefei, Wuhu and Bengbu, three cities in Anhui province, have together contributed more than half of the total amount of the applications and grants, indicating that the indigenous innovative capacity in the three cites have been greatly improved and counted for much in the intellectual property promotion.
