In accordance with the deployment of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan on trademark strategies of Wuxi, a coastal city in southeast China's Jiangsu Province, the number of China Famous Trademarks owned by the city will have reached 103 by the end of 2015, in which, 12 will have been newly added and 44 will have been identified by administrative authorities; while the number of Jiangsu Well-known Brands will have amounted to 450 with 100 newly registered; moreover, 400 Wuxi Noted Trademarks will have been newly recognized, enlarging the total amount to 1,250.
The city also pledges to build eight brand cultivation base featuring a dominant characteristic of local industries, and determines to establish 15 brand incubators at municipal level.
In a bid to realize the goal, the municipal administration for industry and commerce plans to center around eight kinds of emerging industries, creating a demonstration base fostering excellent industrial clusters' brands.
