Shanghai: A conference on IPR protection convened

On August 10, a conference was held in Shanghai to review the implementation of IPR strategies in the first half of 2011 and to share experience of the special campaign conducted to combat IPR infringement and the trafficking of counterfeits.

Participants also talked about the following objectives, tasks and initiatives of IPR strategies.

Lv Guoqiang, commissioner of the municipal intellectual property office, attended and addressed the meeting.

In a bid to provide full support for IPR protection, Lv required relevant departments to develop an effective IPR strategy and establish a long-term mechanism on the protection.
