Invention from farmer-entrepreneur

Farmer-entrepreneur Guo Yunzheng in Botou city received a patent certificate at the end of last month for a process to make an efficient compound fertilizer, his sixth patent granted in the past five years. 

The 38-year-old graduated from college in 1997, went back to his hometown, and devoted himself to improving agricultural technology. In less than 10 years, he developed a patented compound fertilizer that had a 20 percent higher efficiency than similar products. 

In the following years, Guo developed a range of eco-friendly agricultural technologies and equipment. He also invested 1 million yuan to found a company that produces organic fertilizers, feed and feed additives.
