Fujian: Center for cross-Straits exchanges

A national training center for intellectual property rights was recently inaugurated at Xiamen University.

The center is designed to hold training and promotion programs "in different forms at various levels".

Luo Xuan, head of the provincial intellectual property office, said at the opening ceremony that the center "will become a key platform for intellectual property exchanges across the Taiwan Straits".

The State Intellectual Property Office has had a number of training centers in many provinces since 2009.
