A five-month national contest for creation and inventions by students recently concluded in Xiangyang city.
Held as part of an event to promote protection of intellectual property rights, the contest included building and racing amphibious solar-powered models, making solar-powered devices and tests on intellectual property knowledge.
The contest began in March and had nearly 2 million participants from more than 2,000 vocational, primary and junior high schools. Almost 3,000 students made it to the final rounds.
