A working conference was convened in Shenyang, capital city of Liaoning Province, to promote the implementation of intellectual property (IP) strategies, joined by over 80 participants including chiefs of IP offices at city levels and representatives of Dalian University of Technology, Anshan Iron and Steel Group Cooperation and China National Petroleum Cooperation Liaohe Branch.
Hu Quanlin, commissioner of Liaoning Provincial Intellectual Property Office, attended and addressed the meeting.
Hu required relevant departments to effectively implement the IP strategies, seize every opportunity to promote economic development mode transformation and strengthen the core competitiveness of local innovative enterprises.
After reviewing the formulation and implementation of IP strategies and making future working plans, the meeting proposed several requirements to relevant departments: to formulate IP-related policies in accordance with the IP strategies, to promote the maintenance and utilization of specialized patent data bases in industrial cluster areas, to further develop patent pledge financing, to cultivate competitive enterprises with indigenous innovation products, to promote the implementation of IP strategies in cultural industry, to provide better service on IP issues.
At the meeting, representatives from IP offices of Shenyang, Dalian and Jinzhou, as well as those from Dalian University of Technology exchanged opinions on the implementation status of IP strategies in their own department.
The meeting also commended 14 units and 14 individuals for their significant accomplishments achieved in the implementation of IP strategies.
