Beijing: 500 attend animation expo

A digital animation and game fair at the China World Trade Center in early June attracted nearly 500 participants to discuss cooperation on 580 projects.

More than 10 foreign companies and 300 Beijing firms were joined by participants from 16 provinces as well as the metropolis of Shanghai and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Contracts worth 2.37 billion yuan ($366 million) were signed during the fair, a significant increase over the 1.48 billion yuan in agreements in 2009.
