Wuzhong City in Ningxia Province is reactivating its idle trademark resources by establishing a trademark trading platform to collect and distribute related information. Under the guidance of Wuzhong industrial and commercial department, Ningxia Qingtongxia Sunshine Foods Factory has transferred its registered trademark "佳普" (Jiapu) to Yinchuan Yuanbenxian Foods Co., Ltd. at a cost of 65,000 yuan in line with the law.
Wuzhong industrial and commercial department plans to coordinate the right holders of idle trademarks, including unused trademarks and trademarks with a certain reputation from enterprises planning to bankrupt and reshuffle ownership, to transfer or license their trademarks to enterprises in need. In particular, it publicizes information in various ways such as handing out brochures of Trademark Registration Information; and guides enterprises to handle trademark transferring or licensing procedures.
Up to now, Wuzhong industrial and commercial department has collected 236 items of information concerning idle trademarks and thus established an information resource repository. It is now busy with guiding Ningxia Luoshan Wine Co., Ltd. to transfer the "罗山" (Luoshan) trademark to Ningxia Ruifeng Wine Co., Ltd. The "夏进"(Xiajin) trademark is also put into its coordinating agenda.
