As of now, seven enterprises in Xiamen City of Fujian Province have acquired a credit line of more than 200 million yuan from banks, of which 39 million yuan loan on a pledge of IPR have been granted.

In 2009, Guidelines for Xiamen Patent Rights Pledge Loan Work (Provisional), jointly carried out by Xiamen Municipal Intellectual Property Office, People's Bank of China Xiamen Central Sub-branch, China Banking Regulatory Commission Xiamen Bureau, was implemented to help technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises to solve financing problems in an approach of patent right pledge loan. Since its implementation, the Xiamen Branches of the Bank of Communications, China Citic Bank, China Merchant Bank and Rural Commercial Bank have granted six enterprises, including Xiamen Youo Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., a credit line of more than 200 million yuan and a loan of 39 million yuan.
