Xinjiang to step up IP promotion in technological innovation and management

The science and technology bureau and the intellectual property office in Xinjiang Autonomous Region have jointly released a notice on strengthening IP promotion in technological innovation and management, aiming to further implement the national and the autonomous region’s outlines on IP strategies and enhance the IP capacity in Xinjiang.

The notice urges relevant departments to step up IP promotion by using intellectual property rights to protect and accelerate technological innovation, conducting effective special campaigns on combating IP violations, improving IP mechanisms, providing necessary IP services, enhancing IP dissemination and creating a favorable environment for IP development.
