Shanghai: Industrial and commercial departments strengthening IPR protection on foreign-related trademarks

Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce (ShAIC) along with Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) held an illustration meeting on the authentication of Korea commodity trademarks. Leaders from both sides attended and addressed the meeting, and over 180 law enforcement staffs from Shanghai industrial and commercial departments listened to 6 well-known Korean businesses illustrating the methods of authenticating commodity trademarks.

As one of the publicity activities celebrating the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26 organized by Shanghai industrial and commercial departments, the illustration meeting was set to strengthen the protection of foreign-related trademarks and develop law enforcement staffs' authenticating capacity to help them quickly discover trademark violations and skillfully handle trademark-related cases.
