China to debut first intellectual property exchange in Tianjin

China's first intellectual property exchange will be unveiled in Tianjin in June 2011.

The Tianjin Binhai International Intellectual Property Exchange, Ltd., with investments of about 1.2 million U.S. dollars, has been registered in the Tianjin Development Zone at the beginning of 2011, according to the Science and Technology Bureau of the Tianjin Development Zone.

The Northern Technology Exchange Market, the Tianjin Intellectual Property Service Center, Beijing Xinzhengtai Investment Company Limited and Singapore Zhongding Shengshi International Investment Company Limited will jointly establish the exchange.
