On April 8, Tai'an City of Shandong Province held a conference on the construction of national IPR demonstration city. Head of the Material Invention Examination Department under the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Bi Nan, Vice Director of the Intellectual Property Office of Shandong Province Wu Fenglei, Vice Mayor of Tai'an City Xu Enhu as well as other leader attended the conference.

The conference summed up and reviewed the IPR work in Tai'an and the building for national IPR demonstration city since the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and arranged IPR work for the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. Xu Enhu requested related departments to clearly understand the situation and enhance the responsibility and sense of urgency in doing IPR work, raise IPR creation ability, promote IPR industrialization, reinforce IPR protection, enhance IPR management and service ability building and beautifully accomplish the task set for the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. Xu Enhu also asked competent authorities to solidify the coordination mechanism and eventually turn a new page for IPR work in Tai'an.
