Jiangxi: IP cases increase in Nanchang Hi-Tech Zone

According to the news released by the People’s Court of Nanchang Hi-Tech Zone in Jiangxi Province, in the past years, the volume of IP-related cases becomes alarming in the area. From the beginning of the year 2011 till now, the People’s Court of Nanchang Hi-Tech Zone freshly accepted 72 cases involving intellectual property rights, approximately taking up 40% of all the newly received civil and commercial cases.

Furthermore, most of the cases involved infringement, 53% are relating to copyright infringement and 37% were related to the infringement of the exclusive rights of copyrights.
