Home-developed 3D TV by China Will Show up in Market in the Second Half of This Year

March 21, Tsinghua University announced that a "Qing Cube" three-dimensional video chip has been developed. In the latter half of this year, consumers can buy in the market the 3D TV developed by Chinese. Tsinghua University showed the application of the "Qing Cube" chip. Through 3D TV and 3D set top boxes (STB), people can put on 3D glasses to enjoy the experience of immersion. In addition, the chip is also used in the cell phones, and without wearing 3D glasses people can directly see the three-dimensional images in the mobile phone screen. Haier, Changhong and other domestic TV Group have come into cooperation with Tsinghua University, thus 3D TV will be available later this year.
