The Eighth Supervision Group of the national campaign to crack down upon intellectual property infringement and manufacture and distribution of fake and shoddy commodities has recently come to Shaanxi to inspect the progress of the actions. The Group, led by Mr. Yan Xiaohong – Deputy Director of the General Administration of Press and Publication – examined 14 enterprises and markets conducting books and medicine business and spoke highly of the achievements in the actions taken. The campaign was launched by the State Council (the Cabinet) last October.

According to Jing Junhai, Vice Governor of the province, Shaanxi will continue following the instructions of the State Council and strike a heavy blow against IPR infringement and firmly combat crimes related to manufacture and distribution of counterfeit and shoddy commodities.
