

The IPR Channel of China Daily Website, co-sponsored by China Daily, China’s national English-language newspaper, and China IP Magazine, China’s leading magazine dedicated to IP business, was officially launched Tuesday, January 18, in Beijing.
More than 100 VIP delegates from relevant government departments, famous International and local companies, IP management associations, colleges and research institutions, IP agencies, international organizations, foreign institutions stationed in China and medias attended the launching ceremony.
The SIPO’s Deputy Director Bao Hong, the CTMO’s Deputy Commissioner Chen Wentong, Director of Copyright Management Department of State Copyright Bureau Xu Chao, China Daily’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief Huang Qing, ect, delivered speeches on the launching ceremony.
Bao Hong said at ceremony: facing with the rapid development of internet communications, it is a good chance for the transmission and publicity of IP information with the advantages of new media by launching the IP channel on China Daily Website. As an influencing mainstream media, China Daily will definitely play a significant role in the spread of IP information.
Huang Qing said: Same as China Daily IP Weekly, The IPR Channel of China Daily Website will focus on the IP status and trend comprehensively, pay attention to famous figures in IP field, report hitting news events, follow the hot IP developments and spread advanced cultural concepts. It will be a more extensive international platform for China’s IP publicity, and will better present our IP achievements.
With the aim of forwarding China’s IP news worldwide, focusing on and progress and effort we made in the IP field, the IPR Channel will present the IP status and development in China comprehensively and fill the blanks of the absence of China’s IP publicity overseas.
Relying on the China Daily IP Weekly and utilizing the contents from the English version of China IP Magazine, the IPR Channel of China Daily Website is established timely to meet the economic development and readers’ requirement. By combining magazine, website as well as newspaper together, a more qualified, more comprehensive and more professional IP media platform will be created to broaden and deepen the publicity in IP field and at the same time, better promoting communications of different parties.
