Strengthening judicial extended services on IP protection

Recently, Microsoft's general law counsel David Finn made a special trip to China ? Hangzhou to extend their acknowledgement to Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court for the judicial extended service they provided on IP protection.
This year, for the case between Microsoft and CITIC, in accordance with the concept of "protect intellectual property rights, encourage technological innovation", the court not only mediated the two sides reach a genuine software procurement agreement of 3.23 million Yuan, but also established a long-term cooperation mechanism involving IT information, software asset management.
From March 2008, Hangzhou Intermediate Court adhered to the dynamic extension service mechanism to guide any IPRs involving enterprises while to strengthen judicial extended service. They also worked in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Offices, Trade and Industry Bureau, Public Security Bureau and other administrative organs to provide guidance on enterprise management and mediate cases in joint hands.
