2011/01/06
Research firm iSuppli recently released a research report and held that cheap copy mobile phones will face the prospect of a shrinking market and the sales will begin to decline from 2012.
iSuppli report shows that the sales of the cheap copy mobile phones in China this year grew by 43.6% over last year, a total of about 228 million units. With continuous decrease in price and increase in overseas order, the cheap copy mobile phones in 2011 will reach 255 million units. But 2011 will be the last year for such increase. According to the report, due to increase in cost and government suppression, production of the cheap copy mobile phones from the Chinese mainland begin to decline in 2012, but the export situation will be bullish all the way, showing a robust growth.
