The Supreme People's Court released the revised "Norms of judges’ conduct "on 15th , required the judges to lay constraints on words and actions beside working hour and to eliminate the unsuitable image, bad habits and behavior which may affect the impartial performance of duties and consciously safeguard the image of judge. The Norms emphasized that go abroad for private reasons, the judges should report to the national organizations to get their approval; return on time; comply local laws, respect local folk customs and religious practices; pay attention to personal image and safeguard our national dignity.Meanwhile, the norms put forwards that the judges should refuse invitations from parties that have direct interest concerning with the cases; any invitation from non-interest organizations should be reported for approval.
