China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo to Be Held in Jinan Shandong Province

The first China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo organized by Shandong Government will be held in Jinan, Shandong province from October 15 -18, 2010. This Expo focuses on the exhibition and promotion of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) projects suit for production protection. ICH Projects above provincial level (autonomous administrative region and municipality) will be invited to the Expo as well as representative inheritors of those projects with the exhibition form of pictures, exhibits, sales, multi-media and on-site producing by the ICH representative inheritors. The Expo will offer 700 standard booths to projects listed in the national or provincial project directory. Additionally, the show of ICH will select the excellence from that of opera, music or dancing of each provinces, autonomous administrative regions and municipalities
