The Ministry of Science and Technology and Beijing Municipal Government signed an agreement in Beijing on 16th to build a modern agricultural science and technology city of China. The modern agricultural science and technology city is committed to promote the construction of an innovation-oriented country and the Beijing Urbanization Construction, enhance independent innovation capability in agricultural science and technology to create high-end industrial agriculture. The emphases will be laid on the construction of five centers as Agricultural Science & Technology Network Service center, Financial Services Centre, Innovation & Industrial Promotion Centers and so on. It is known that the modern agricultural science and technology city will break through the traditional model, through a combination of technology and services, capital, information, and other elements of modern agricultural services to form a new model of modern agriculture industry as "high-end of research and development, brand services, Beijing’s marketing & management and, outside production and processing　"
