Visual Identity for torch relay of the fifth national Special Olympics released

The fifth Special Olympics torch relay of The People's Republic of China will officially start in Fuzhou on 15th August. The Special Olympics Organizing Committee holds a press conference in Fuzhou today, announced the torch image of the Fifth National Special Olympics Games. The torch is 720 mm in height, shapes as a Ruyi, decorated with yellow jasmine, and then outlines with simple wishful contour lines. In China, the two elements as Jasmine, the representation of elegant and Ruyi, the essence of the luck, happiness and sanctity fully embodies the characteristic of Fuzhou. As traditional Chinese elements, Ruyi and Flame in Matsu Meizhou Island symbolizes the harmony of this collection of fire flame, Harmony fire. Since Jasmine represents the hosting city of this Special Olympics Games, the jasmine blossoming symbolizes booming of the cities, as well as predicts that the people in the city will welcome the guests from every part of China with open arms.
