The Number of Trademarks in Hangzhou ranks top in China. Hangzhou is listed in the first group of model cities

According to development report recently released by Hangzhou Industry and Commerce Administration Bureau, until the end of 2009, the number of valid registered trademark in Hangzhou was up to 56.8 thousands, ranked top in the nation whereas the number of well-known trade marks was just second to Shenzhen among vice provincial cities. It is known that to push forward the operation of trademark strategy, the Chinese government stipulated “supportive measures to the national trademark strategic operation model cities” which listed Hangzhou as the first group of model cities, consequently can enjoy 13 supportive measures. Someone holds that there would be more favorable policies and more guidance & help for Hangzhou after being listed as the model city.
