MIIT: We are developing New Energy Automobile Development Programs

MOF, MOST, MIIT and NDRC held a joint meeting in Shenzhen to discuss pilot programs nationwide for private individuals buying new energy automobiles. It is said that the production and sale of automobiles of 2009 in China both surpassed 13.6 million, making China the No. 1 automobile manufacturer in the world. It is likely that the growth will continue for a long period. The Chinese Government has formulated and promulgated documents stipulating practices such as allowances for buying new energy automobiles in order to create a better policy environment for the development of new energy automobiles.
