AOC to Take over Philips TV Business?

Philips and AOC have signed a letter of intent of cooperation, with Philips selling its TV business in mainland China, including its relevant intellectual property rights, human resources, marketing network and its 5-year exclusive access to China’s mainland market, etc, according to a report on 26th July. Regarding this, Philips China Group has only responded that there has been no official announcement. And AOC, which was reported to have intended to purchase Xiahua, has not yet made any reply towards this.
