Lately, Yuxi in Yunnan Province issued the "Administrative Measures on Intellectual Property (IP) in Science & Technology (S&T) Projects" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"). The "Measures" has five parts, including general rules, rights and interests, project management, post management and supplementary articles. It is mainly applicable to the researches, development projects and special projects invested or funded by the governments in Yuxi.

　　The issuance of the "Measures" is beneficial to the management of IP in the S&T research projects; it could offer enterprises guidance on the protection of IP, facilitate the transforming of the S&T achievements into IP, guarantee the legal technical benefits and economic interests, and reinforce the persistent innovative ability of Yuxi in S&T.
