Tianjin held trainings on patent for S&T assistants

From July 6 to 8, Tianjin Municipal Intellectual Property Office and Tianjin Municipal Education Commission successfully held the training on patent for Science and Technology (S&T) assistants, 49 S&T assistants attended and Deputy Director of the Municipal Intellectual Property Office Wang Cheng made a speech.

  The training targeted S&T assistants in middle and elementary schools in Tianjin at the front, and covered the policy outlines on intellectual property rights, key tasks for promoting the intellectual property among the youth and explanation, patent basic knowledge, explanation on patent application and so on. During the training, participators also made communications over related work to improve the innovation ability and awareness on intellectual property.

  All who attended the training expressed that the training did improve their awareness on intellectual property rights, nailed down the working goals for them, and made them grasp the basic knowledge needed in the work; and they would help students further improve the understanding of the patent and intellectual property rights. Meanwhile, everyone also hoped to normalize the education on intellectual property and included this part into the curriculum with unified teaching materials. Besides, teachers offered fine suggestions correspondingly.
