On June 29, Dali, a city of Yunnan Province held an awarding ceremony for the first batch of pilot schools for popularization of intellectual property (IP).Two schools including Midu No.1 Secondary School and Micheng No.2 Primary School were awarded. The related principals of Dali Municipal Intellectual Property Office and the IPO and Bureau of Education in Midu County attended the ceremony.

In order to implement the requirements of "promoting IP cultural construction, constituting and carrying out the IP popularization and education plan and bringing IP contents into the education system in secondary and primary schools" put forward by "the Outline of National IP Strategy", the said two schools were approved as the first batch of IP pilot schools.
