In order to enhance the enterprises' ability on independent innovation and boost the transformation of economic development,days ago, Guangdong Provincial S&T Department and Provincial Economic and Information Committee jointly carried out the appraisal of top 100 enterprises with independent innovation and enterprises to participate were required with independent IPRs.

Through the activity, related departments wanted to exert the leading function of the top 100 enterprises in their industries, drive other related enterprises to effectively enhance innovation ability, boot the optimal development of clusters of related industries, substantially improve the abilities of Guangdong's enterprises on independent innovation and industrial core competitiveness, and lay a solid foundation for realizing the transformation of economic development, adjustment of economic structure and construction of innovation-oriented city.
