On May 31, Director General of Institut national de la propriété industrielle (INPI) Battistelli, Director of the International Cooperation Department of INPI Moltz, and intellectual property office of French Embassy in China Wu Tiannan visited Sichuan Provincial Intellectual Property Office. The two sides communicated with each other on the topics concerned by both.

Director General of Sichuan Provincial Intellectual Property Huang Feng particularly introduced the construction of intellectual property (IP) policies and legislations, administrative law enforcement, trial enterprises for IP, patent information service, propaganda and trainings, communication and cooperation and so on. Battistelli gave high praise to the achievements by Sichuan Provincial Intellectual Property and also hoped that in the future, the two sides could further reinforce the cooperation and communication. Deputy Directors of Sichuan Provincial Intellectual Property Li Min and Wang Dao Wei and principals for related department of State Intellectual Property Office also attended the meeting.

At the same day, Deputy Secretary of Sichuan Provincial People's Government Cai Jing met the French side. Cai briefly introduced the general situation and IP work of Sichuan Province; Battistelli appraised the achievements by Sichuan in IP work and hoped to go on with the communication and cooperation in IP field. The two sides also talked about the friendship between China and French.
