On March 1, Shanghai Intellectual Property Joint Conference Office issued a notice on carrying out 2010 Shanghai IPR Publicity Week, which confirms the theme of this year's Shanghai IPR Publicity Week is “Innovation and IPR make Expo Shanghai 2010 More Wonderful."

It is the 10th World Intellectual Property Day and is also the seventh IPR Publicity Week activities of organized by China. World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) published "Innovation - Linking the World" as the theme of this year's World Intellectual Property Day.

According to the requirement of " Special Action Program on IP Protection of Expo 2010 " constituted by eight departments, and combining the key work of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and People's Government, Shanghai Municipal Intellectual Property Joint Conference Office determined the theme of 2010 Shanghai IP Publicity Week is "Innovation and IPR make Expo Shanghai 2010 More Wonderful."
