National copyright trade market launched

On December 17, China Copyright Protection Center jointly with four copyright exchanges – International Copyright Trade Center, Shanghai Culture Assets and Equity Exchange, Guangdong Provincial Southern Cultural Property Exchange and Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange signed an agreement for establishment of "National Copyright Trade Common Market", and started to integrate the copyright trade markets in the whole country.
"The trade markets on this aspect in the whole country are unordered, we want to construct a national platform and boost the development of copyright trade via establishing such a common market". Said the General Manager of International Copyright Trade Center.
Deputy Director of General Administration of Press and Publication Li Dongdong expressed, "now we have related laws and regulations, we need to construct relevant systems for the implementation and make innovation on property rights trade, and the common market is a good attempt."
It is learnt that, Ministry of Finance and State Copyright Office plan to launch the appraisal system of property right, and provide a suit of standards. The reporter also learnt that, the copyright trade institutions entered into "common market" were the first batch, and others preparing copyright trade institutions were in plan of participation.
