MOFCOM and MOST to support IPR pledge loan

It is learnt from December 15 that the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) publicized Opinions on Encouraging Technology Export (hereinafter referred to as the Opinions).
Based on the Opinions, the following things will be done soon. First, develop credit products and insurance coverage catering for the characteristics and practical need of technology export enterprises and add financing means for enterprises; second, support technology export enterprises to develop IPR pledge loan business, set up service mechanism for IPR pledge loan, solve the financing problems of enterprises, particularly S&T SMEs and utilize the special funds for the interest discount to reduce enterprises' cost in financing; third, encourage insurance companies to provide money collection guarantee for technology export, especially those with sets of equipment, debt collection service and convenience in trade financing under the insurance item.
