CAS has 38,000 patent applications

Director of Bureau of Planning and Finance Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Kong Li expressed at the national IP and national patent application and industrialization meeting that, CAS accumulatively applied 38,000 patents and 18,000 pieces were authorized.

It is introduced by Kong Li that, CAS applied 5,616 patents and 2,665 pieces were authorized. Up to now, CAS still has over 10,000 pieces of effective patents.

The rate of invention patent application of CAS is 90% and higher than the national average level. And the authorization rate of invention patents is stabilized in 60-70%.
