EU-China Roving Seminars on IPR Enforcement Assistance held in Hubei

On December 9, EU-China Roving Seminar on IPR Enforcement Assistance was held in Yichang, a city of Hubei Province. The related principals from International Cooperation Department of SIPO, principals of IPR2 project and leaders of Yichang Municipal Peoples' Government attended the meeting and made speeches. 70 representatives from Provincial and Municipal Intellectual Property Offices and enterprises attended the meeting.


At the meeting, Mr Kaj Kramer Pedersen from Denmark Patent and Trademark Office and Ms Pauline Weber from Germany Frankfurt Exhibition Company made the special reports on "European IP Law Enforcement and Protection Situation" and "European Exhibition and IP Protection at Trading Fairs" respectively; Lai Xiaopeng from the IP Academy of China University of Political Science and Law and Zhao Jie from Wuhan Municipal Intellectual Property Office made the speeches respectively on "IP Administrative Law Enforcement and Judicial Protection" and "Modern China IP Law Enforcement Outline and Latest Change and its Practical Meanings".


Yichang's enterprises understood the IP related laws and protection methods in EU countries and gained related guidance on IP protection work at exhibitions via the seminar.
