From December 2 to 6, the liaison person dispatched by French Industrial Property Office to China Nam NGO THIEN and his party visited Hunan province. Director of Hunan IP Office Gong Shiyi, Vice Directors Chen Zhongbo and Zou Minsheng met with the visitors.
The two sides talked about IP issues. Gong Shiyi and Chen Zhongbo introduced the IPR work in Hunan and the cooperative achievements made by Hunan IP Office and French Industrial Property Office. They expressed that, with the development of the IP cause in Hunan, the exchange activity on IPR between Hunan IP Office and the related entities in France will become more frequently. By studying and visiting activities, Hunan IP Office further understood the role of French IP system in promoting the progress of economy and science & technology of France. The experiences and doings of French Industrial Property Office in serving the public, supporting SMEs and boosting up technology innovation as well as the new measures on protecting invention patent are all worthy of learning.
Nam NGO THIEN briefed the policies and measures issued for enterprises and patent holders. He denoted that, France also sets up local IP offices and China and France have more similarities in IP system. He fully confirmed the fruitful cooperation between France and Hunan province of China.
