Presently, Guizhou Provincial IP Office delivered reports to the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial People's Congress and the Legal Affairs Office of Guizhou Provincial People's Government on listing the revision work of Guizhou Patent Protection Provisions into the lawmaking plans of the year 2010, indicating the formal start of the revision work of the Provisions.

The revision work will take the following aspects into consideration, i.e. promoting the creation and use of patents, reinforcing inspiring measures, consummating patent management system and enhancing patent protection. Furthermore, the good policies and measures, managerial experience and doings related to patent work will also be included in the revised provisions in order to solidify the fruits in patent work and advance the in-depth development of patent work in the whole province.
