Beijing: underground train with proprietary IPR to be used

The underground train with full proprietary IPR manufactured by Beijing Underground Train Equipment Company will be used in Fangshan section of Beijing underground, and Fangshan section will become the first urban railway that uses underground train with 95% localization rate.
According to General Manager Hu Zhiqiang, Beijing Underground Train Equipment Company mainly manufactures and mends underground trains. After six-year effort from 2003, the company finished the R&D and manufacturing projects of underground vehicles with proprietary intellectual property rights. Hu Zhiqiang said that, the company will spend one and a half year in enlarging the productivity capability of the company with the purpose of manufacturing 600 trains and mending 150.
