How the EU firms register trademarks, and how to protect their own legal trademark rights with IP? On October 26, the "Itinerant Workshop on European Community (EC) Trademark and Solid Trademark System" which was sponsored by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, undertaken by Sino-EU IP protection project and co-sponsored by Shaanxi Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce was held.

It is learnt that the leaders of related departments of China and EC and the industrial and commercial cadres at each level, leaders of related firms and trademark agencies attended the meeting and made a communication on the process, charge and IP application of registering trademark in EU.

It is learnt from a principal of Shaanxi Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce that, in the period of commodity homogeneity, using heterogeneity brand strategy to look for market bargaining chances has become the key method for promoting regional economy. In recent years, Shaanxi developed rapidly on trademark and its trademarks have reached 40,000 pieces.
