It is learnt that, Jiangsu Province offered big supports for new technology transformation in universities, colleges and scientific research institutions and has topped in 4 areas relating to patent with great achievements.

The 4 areas are patent applications, patents granted, patent applications for enterprises and patents granted for enterprises. There are 91,828 patent applications for the first 8 months this year for Jiangsu Province, and patent granted are 52,167, which is the first time for Jiangsu to top in China; patent applications for enterprises are 42,190, and patents granted are 28,322.

Besides, enterprises in Jiangsu Province have set up a steady cooperative relationship with 940 domestic universities and colleges, and formed more than 1000 cooperative bodies of industry, university and research. There are 15,000 transformation projects for science and technology achievements, which achieves over 600 billion yuan.
