UC Browser False and Illegal Advertising Case Handling Results: The company involved in the case was fined 2.09 million yuan

The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision stated on April 13th that the case of false and illegal advertisements on UC browser exposed at CCTV's 3.15 Event has been investigated and the market supervision department has confiscated the advertisements of Guangzhou Juhe Information Technology Co., Ltd. (the advertisement publisher) in accordance with the law. An administrative penalty of 13,464.04 yuan and a fine of 2,078,172.55 yuan was judged, the total amount of fines and confiscations was 2,096,636.59 yuan.
