In accordance with the unified deployment of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Jiangxi Provincial Market Supervision Department has launched a particular campaign to combat malicious squatting of trademarks from March to the end of this year crackdown on ten types of typical trademark squatting.
Malicious squatting of trademarks seriously violates the principle of good faith, violates public order and customs, disrupts the order of trademark registration management, and is likely to cause serious adverse social effects and apparent social harm. Jiangxi’s market supervision department will take measures such as searching for clues, administrative interviews, and exposing typical cases to intensify efforts to crack down on illegal trademark squatting. For trademark agencies and personnel with serious violations of trademark squatting, Jiangxi Provincial Market Supervision Department will report to CNIPA and stop its trademark agency business.
