Huawei officially announced to not launch its car business, but the "Huawei Auto" trademarks were applied to register

There have been rumors that Huawei intended to launch the car manufacturing business. Since Huawei has not made an official announcement, coupled with Huawei's number of changes in recent years, this news has been laid aside. And just recently, the news about Huawei's car was once again heatedly discussed. The fundamental reason is that some companies have started to register the "Huawei Auto" trademark preemptively, but these applications have recently been rejected one by one and announced invalidated.
 
According to data from China Trademark Network, Hunan Shijing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. applied for the "Huawei Automobile" category 12 trademark on July 29, 2019. The designated use scope is vehicles. The current trademark status is invalid.
 
Besides, the company also preemptively registered trademarks such as "Huawei Express Cloud", "Electronics Express Cloud", "Alibaba Express Cloud", "IPHONE CAR" and "Beidou Express Cloud", all of which are designated for use in the 12th category, transportation tools and other categories.
