CNIPA and USTC sign a contract to build an intellectual property research institute

On March 30, 2021, the Framework Agreement on Cooperative Establishment of Intellectual Property Research Institute between SIPO and USTC was signed in Beijing. Shen Changyu, Director of SIPO and Bao Xinhe, President of USTC signed and delivered a speech on behalf of both parties.

Shen Changyu pointed out that the cooperation is an important measure to speed up the building of a powerful intellectual property country and a world-class university. He hoped that the two sides could contribute new intellectual property theories, explore a new model of talent training, and strive to create a new benchmark in the field of intellectual property research.

Bao Xinhe noted that USTC has long attached great importance to intellectual property work and will give full play to its advantages in intellectual property academic research and talent training to make new contributions to the development of intellectual property.

Liao Tao, Deputy Director General of the State Intellectual Property Office presided over the signing ceremony.
