Under the background that China vigorously supports the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthens the protection of intellectual property rights, strengthens overseas intellectual property risk early warning and rights protection assistance for enterprises, effectively responds to international competition in the field of intellectual property rights, and resolutely safeguards national development interests, China's first global patent portfolio (Patent Pool) cooperation project has been successfully implemented in Shanghai recently.

This project covers more than 50 technical fields and has an international patent portfolio with more than 12,000 patents, which targets Chinese SMEs. The patent pool is an integrated standardized license. According to the license time, the license fee can be divided into one year, three years, five years, and ten years. The license fee is relatively low, 1/5-1/10 of common license projects, and will contribute to Chinese SMEs' early growth.
