Sichuan: Shuangliu County quests for new model of IP pledge financing

Lately, the IP Office of Shuangliu County of Sichuan province respectively signed Agreements on Jointly Promoting IP Pledge Financing with Chengdu Productivity Promotion Center and Shuangliu Juyuan Financing & Investment Management Service Ltd., Co. (hereinafter referred to as Juyuan Co.) and issued Notice on Developing IP Pledge Financing.
According to the Agreements, the hi-tech enterprises located in Shuangliu County can get IP pledge loan by the following two models. First, enterprises only pledge their appraised IPRs to get loan from banks with the assurance of Chengdu Productivity Promotion Center or Juyuan Co.; second, enterprises pledge their IPRs and tangible assets including land, workshops and equipment to get loan with the assurance of Juyuan Co., and the proportion of IPRs can not exceed 40% of the total pledge assets. For these two kinds of IP pledge loan, the IP Office of Shuangliu County will subsidize the assurance fee or service fee according to a certain proportion.
