Huawei officially launches patent wall on official website, Public display of 798 patents in various fields

Huawei has officially launched a "patent wall" on its official website, which publicly displays the 798 patents the company has received in various fields and will be updated from time to time.
 
The "patent wall" covers patents in different fields such as computing, WC, 5G, WiFi, LTE, optical technology and smart cars. As of December 31, 2020, Huawei holds 40,000+ families of patents (100,000+ pieces), contributing value to the development of the global communications industry and technological innovation. Huawei's earliest patents date back to 1995.
 
It is reported that Huawei announced the charging standard for 5G multi-mode mobile phones on March 16, that is, the upper limit of the patent license fee for a single mobile phone that follows the 5G standard is $2.50, and it will provide a reasonable percentage rate applicable to the price of the phone.Ding Jianxin, head of Huawei's intellectual property department, also said the company expects to earn between $1.2 billion and $1.3 billion in intellectual property revenue from 2019 to 2021.
 
In addition, Huawei recently released the 2020 edition of Huawei Innovation and Intellectual Property White Paper, which shows that Huawei firmly believes that respecting and protecting intellectual property is the only way to innovate. Over the past 20 years, Huawei has engaged in extensive cross-licensing negotiations with major patent holders in the ICT industry and has so far signed more than 100 patent licensing agreements with major ICT manufacturers in the United States, Europe, Japan and South Korea.
