The Supreme Intellectual Property Court received 5,121 cases in two years

Recently, it was learned from the Supreme People's Court that during the second anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Intellectual Property Court, a total of 5,121 cases were accepted and 4,220 cases were concluded, with a closing rate of 82%. Among them, 2,787 cases were approved in 2020, an increase of 1,354 cases over 2019, and a year-on-year increase of nearly 95%.
 
The Vice President of the Supreme Court’s Intellectual Property Tribunal said that since the court’s official inauguration on January 1, 2019, it has deepened reforms in the field of technical intellectual property trials, continuously improved its working mechanism, and achieved initial results.
